Zac Brown Band rocks Today show

The Zac Brown band rocked the Plaza this morning for the Today show, singing songs including fan favorite Chicken Fried, Free and their new hit single with Jimmy Buffett, Knee Deep.More:  Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina sing on 'GMA'

Buffett wasn't there to sing his parts on the song, but Brown paid tribute to him, telling Lester Holt and Natalie Morales (who were filling in for Matt Lauer and Ann Curry), "I think he's one of the best American songwriters who ever lived. I've been covering his songs forever, and to actually get to collaborate with some of my heroes has been some of the big milestones in my career."
At that point, Morales presented Brown with a plaque announcing that his 2010 album, You Get What You Give, just went platinum.
When asked what has changed for the band as they have risen to fame, Brown said, "You know, we travel a lot more comfortably now." He added, "There's a lot of things that have changed, but the core — we love what we do, we love our craft, we love the fans, we love being able to do what we love to do. ... Every day I pinch myself."
