If you have ever wanted to know how eBay works please join us for our eBay workshop. Class will be Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the cost is $49. Other one day workshops include: Computer Introduction on Aug. 26, Intermediate Word on Oct. 22, Digital Camera on Sept. 20, Publisher on Sept. 10 and Web Page Design on Aug. 27.
Medical Coder/Biller Program
For those students who have been anxiously awaiting the next Medical Coder/Biller class, it is here. Class will be held Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 18 to Dec. 15. This is a fast-paced class that will require much time and commitment. For those students who are up for the challenge, you may register now at the Adult Education office or call 564-4970 for additional information. The cost for the class is $1,699. All students who successfully pass the course and have a high school diploma are eligible to sit for AAPC's national coding exam and billing exam; the exams are not included in the cost of the course.
Cardio and Kids Taekwondo Classes
If you are interested in taking a Taekwondo class, please read on. Adult and Community Education will offer a Cardio Taekwondo class (age 16 and older) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. beginning Aug. 25. A Kids Taekwondo class (ages 8-16) will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 25. The cost is $37 plus a material fee.
